After another lovely sunrise…image

Went on a cruise to the outer Agincourt reef off the coast of Port Douglas…managed to get into a Lycra wetsuit (they are not kidding when they say the suits are skin tight!!), to stop any potential stinger attacks should they venture close…Lordy, Lordy…that was a very unattractive moment. Anyway, no friend on board to take pics and embarrass me for the rest of my life, which

Just snorkelled around seeing gorgeously coloured fish….then a few of us went on a ‘submersible’ (like a small sub) to see coral outcrops much further out from the pontoon. That was really good as well.

On the way back to Trinity Beach, a lovely visual of a rain dump over the Coral Sea.image

Slept in slightly this morning, so on wakening saw a gorgeous deep pink hue in the sky…too late to get down to the beach but easy as, to stand on balcony! WOWIE!!!!

Nice lazy Sunday drimageive up winding roads to Herberton, a little old mining village in the Tablelands; felt like I stepped back into the early 20thC!! Very traditional pub!!imageimage

Coming back down to the Captain Cook Highway, a view of the Coral Sea and Smithfield from a lookout….image
