31/10/18 San Francisco Halloween

Arrived in San Francisco 3pm, dropped stuff off at hotel and went to witness how Californians celebrate Halloween…in Richmond Hill, where I heard families ‘get out on the street’. And they did!  Walked up and down Lake St between 15th and 25th Streets  taking pics.

Where Pacific waves meet the setting sun, Richmond district stretches 50 blocks west from the vast green spaces of the Presidio and gorgeous Golden Gate Park. The houses/estates are huge and its, rich, rich, rich here! I saw the Japanese garden and de Young Museum on the drive through and decided I have to go back!

Green Apple Books on the Park (close to the Botanical Gardens), had a dog dress up competition for Halloween (of course!)….such a cute range of entries, but owners hadn’t thought through nor prepared for, their dog’s reaction to others and there were a few ‘scrapes’.  The mutts I pictured though were really well behaved…..’Reilly’ (left), ‘Bettany’ (with owner), and ‘Magic’.
